What I can do for you

CRO Audit

Find out where your site's issues are and how to fix them

AB Testing

Test key areas in the user journey and improve your conversion rate

Landing Pages

Optimise your key pages and increase your revenue

User Research

Discover who your users are, what they love about your site and where they struggle

The goal of my work is to make life easier for your users, so they'll end up doing more of what you want them to do and you'll ultimately get more revenue.

How I work

The first stage of my work is to find out what the issues on your website are by carrying out a CRO audit. Then we use AB testing to work out which solution is the best fix for each of those problems. Solving those issues is what will make life easier for your users, which is why we'll see conversion rates go up.

Normally, when I take on a new project, I carry out a CRO audit of the website to identify and understand all the issues visitors are facing that are likely draining money or leads from the website. Some of these problems might just need a quick fix, some might require a deeper investigation. Chances are the majority of issues will sit somewhere in the middle: we know what the problems are but we don't know what is the best solution to fix them. This is where AB testing comes into play and that's how we improve the conversion rate of your website.

I can also help analyse and redesign specific key areas of your site, like the landing pages, or help you discover more about your customers with user research. That includes projects like user testing, user interviews and usability testing.

I can work on my own or integrate very easily with your current teams and processes.

No developer needed

I build and code my own AB tests without needing help from your developers. My solution is all inclusive, saving you money.

A CRO Audit allows us to analyse the current site performance and highlight opportunities, areas of improvement and points of friction.

The goal of the audit is to look for issues that are preventing users from reaching their goals. It involves several different quantitative analysis (technical, heuristic, data analysis) that shed light on where the problems are, and pairs them up with qualitative research (heatmaps, screen recordings, surveys and sometimes user testing and competitor analysis, too) which allows us to understand why those issues are happening. Every discovered issue is paired with actionable insights and solutions, so you can start taking action immediately.

I'll provide you with a fully detailed document along with a list of recommended actions.

Most of the issues found at the audit stage become test ideas, prioritised so that tests with a potentially bigger impact and relative ease of building will be executed first on the pages that matter most for ROI.

This is an ongoing phase where tests are designed, coded, launched: by testing different solutions, AB testing allows us to understand which variation has the highest performance and implement it to reap the benefits in terms of conversion rate and revenue.

I can take care of all the different testing stages myself (coding included), but I will keep you up to date with regular updates on the status of every test, results and asking for your input and signoff at the different stages.

Landing pages are key areas of your site, especially if you are running paid campaigns: these are the first pages that your potential customers see when they land on your website so optimising their conversion rate is very important. These pages are not standalone - they are part of a longer user journey which starts from the search query, continues through the ad and the landing page and ends with the in-page form or call to action. It's therefore necessary to take into account and analyse the whole process in order to have substantial improvements on the conversion rate. By understanding what disconnect and friction users may experience before and on the page, we can make the necessary copy and design changes to allow for a smoother sailing and a higher conversion rate. If traffic is high enough, AB testing could be very useful.
The purpose of user research is to understand user behaviour, motivation, satisfaction and needs using observation and feedback techniques, such as surveys, screen recordings, heatmaps, usability testing and user interviews. While AB Testing and analytics allow us to understand what is happening and where by looking at data, qualitative user research allows to understand why it's happening. User research can be added to any of the services I mentioned above but is also useful when used as a standalone project.
